There is a person who went to Gangnam following a friend and discovered something unique for themselves. That person is Jeong Jae-wook, the CEO of ToneWave System. He recalls being overwhelmed by the exciting atmosphere at a concert hall he visited with a friend, an experience that couldn't be conveyed through TV. Intrigued by the role of an audio engineer in controlling various sounds on-site to create natural and high-quality audio, he was captivated.

After completing his studies, he pursued his dream and joined an audio company. Starting to learn the work of an audio engineer, he also obtained a professional audio qualification. In 2021, he founded ToneWave System and has been planning and operating audio systems for various events, navigating through various venues.

Tonewave System entered its peak season in September. While spring and early autumn bring numerous events, the cooling weather also marks the start of various outdoor festivals. The 'Autumn Han River Festival,' which Jeong Jae-wook was preparing for, took place from the 13th to the 22nd, spanning 11 Han River parks. The festival featured band and orchestra performances, incorporating a variety of musical instruments. Jeong described working at the event, surrounded by the joyful atmosphere of families and couples, as an exhilarating experience.

Jeong Jae-wook stated, "Weather is particularly crucial for outdoor events. Fortunately, the weather was favorable on that day, allowing us to conclude the event successfully." He explained that sound is greatly affected by weather conditions, especially humidity, which influences the tuning of sound systems.

To address this, they analyzed the progression of sound according to the audio curriculum before the event, considering sound delay situations for tuning. Moreover, in the event of rain, they took precautions in equipment management, such as covering them with waterproof covers. With so many details to attend to, the workload naturally increases, contributing to higher levels of fatigue.

In order to prepare for diverse locations and changing weather conditions throughout the country, CEO Jung emphasized the importance of meticulous simulations at Tonewave System. Prior to each event, they conduct pre-meetings to accurately understand all the necessary details for system operation. Virtual programs with sound setups resembling real-life scenarios are repetitively simulated to perfect the response to unexpected situations that may arise during live events. The rehearsal conducted before the event involves the participation of all event personnel, making their in-house simulations distinctive.

This meticulous preparation was evident during the 'Seoul Street Arts Festival 2023' held from September 29 to October 1 in Seoul Square. The event took place across various locations, including Seoul Square, Cheonggye Square, and Mugyo-ro, featuring numerous stages of different sizes. With the dedicated efforts of the entire staff and the deployment of various equipment, CEO Jung mentioned that the event was challenging but rewarding.

Tonewave System, originally rooted in a service-oriented industry with expertise, has transitioned into an audio rental specialist. CEO Jung highlighted the essential qualities of kindness, trust, and expertise in the service industry, noting that all employees embody a professional attitude. They make continuous efforts to keep their systems and equipment up-to-date with the latest trends.

Whether it's diverse events and performances enhancing our leisure and cultural experiences or forums and conferences sharing valuable information, appropriate audio is crucial for these gatherings. CEO Jung emphasized that even though perfection might not always be noticeable, audio mishaps in places with a large audience can cause significant inconvenience to event proceedings.

Describing Tonewave System's vision as BEST (Thorough Preparation for the Best Sound), PERFECT (Professionalism for Perfection), and NEW (Continuous Progress and Change), CEO Jung expressed their commitment to making every participant satisfied in the events they engage in.
