Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. (TAEC) announced a new collaboration with ASI Corporation, a national distributor of IT hardware and software products. ASI Corporation was founded in 1987 and has nine sales/warehouse locations throughout the U.S. and Canada and carries over 150 product lines and other key components.
ASI will feature a full line-up of Toshiba’s internal hard disk drives as the company looks to bolster its position in the storage distribution market. “Proliferation of digital content is resulting in a surge in demand for storage, and by adding Toshiba’s hard disk drives, it will solidify ASI’s product portfolio and at the same time provide a competitive product for our customers,” stated Christine Liang, President, of ASI.
“ASI is a well-established distributor of leading edge products, and it is exciting news for Toshiba to be an integral part of their hard disk drive offerings,” said Bill Willette, Senior Director HDD Sales. “Our partnership with ASI will allow customers to purchase Toshiba’s HDDs easily and efficiently. This partnership is a win-win for both of our companies, and together we hope to achieve new milestones.”
